Biography

Mikaila Campbell is an experienced Physiotherapist and Injury Management Consultant with a strong clinical background in musculoskeletal rehabilitation and functional recovery. With five years of experience across private practice, hospital settings, and community-based home care, Mikaila brings a well-rounded, person-centred approach to her role at Praventus.

Mikaila holds a Bachelor of Applied Science and a Master of Physiotherapy, graduating in 2020. Since then, she has worked with people of all ages and backgrounds, helping them recover from injury and improve their physical performance. She enjoys helping people get back to the things that are important to them, whether that’s sport, work, hobbies or everyday activities. Her approach focuses on not only restoring physical capacity, but also helping people rebuild their confidence and quality of life.

Throughout her clinical career, Mikaila developed a strong interest in the wider factors that contribute to a successful recovery, particularly the coordination, communication and planning involved in returning someone to work. This led her into injury management, where she now works with injured workers, employers and insurers to coordinate rehabilitation and support safe and sustainable return-to-work outcomes.

Mikaila was motivated to join Praventus by her desire to advocate for injured workers in a more strategic capacity. She brings a strong focus on communication, client empowerment, and sustainable outcomes. Her previous hands-on experience gives her valuable insight into the challenges clients face during recovery, and she applies this knowledge to ensure the support provided is both practical and compassionate.

In her current role, Mikaila is excited to work collaboratively with stakeholders to develop proactive RTW strategies, support recovery at work, and reduce the risk of long-term disability. She is passionate about contributing to positive workplace culture and believes that safe, timely, and well-supported recovery is key to the well-being of both individuals and organisations.
