Biography

Brendan Vorster is an Injury Management Consultant with a strong background in clinical exercise physiology, specialising in musculoskeletal rehabilitation. He is passionate about supporting organisations in effectively managing workplace injuries and promoting overall health and wellbeing to foster safe, supportive work environments. Brendan brings a well-rounded, person-centred approach to his role at Praventus.

Brendan holds a Bachelor of Exercise and Rehabilitation degree from Edith Cowan University (ECU).

This qualification has provided him with a strong foundation in injury prevention and rehabilitation, with experience spanning a wide range of musculoskeletal injuries, chronic conditions, and complex disease management.

Prior to transitioning into injury management consulting, Brendan worked for three years as a Clinical Exercise Physiologist in private practice. His work focused on musculoskeletal rehabilitation across workers’ compensation claims, Department of Veterans’ Affairs clients, and motor vehicle accident cases. He also led clinical programs in the management of osteoporosis (ONERO) and osteoarthritis (GLA:D Program). In addition, Brendan has experience in chronic disease management, including supporting individuals with metabolic conditions and those prescribed GLP-1 medications.

In his current role as an Injury Management Consultant, Brendan applies his extensive clinical knowledge to guide organisations through the injury management process. His person-centred approach enables him to work effectively with injured employees, ensuring they receive comprehensive care, rehabilitation, and support to achieve a safe and sustainable return to work
