Mikaila Campbell
Injury Management Consultant
Biography
Mikaila Campbell is an experienced Physiotherapist and Injury Management Consultant with a strong clinical background in musculoskeletal rehabilitation and functional recovery. With five years of experience across private practice, hospital settings, and community-based home care, Mikaila brings a well-rounded, person-centred approach to her role at Praventus.
Mikaila holds a Bachelor of Applied Science and a Master of Physiotherapy, graduating in 2020. Since then, she has developed a broad clinical skillset, supporting clients of all ages and backgrounds through injury recovery and performance optimisation. Her passion lies in helping individuals move beyond pain and return to the activities that matter most to them—whether it’s sport, work, hobbies, or daily function. She is committed to restoring not just physical capacity, but also confidence and quality of life.
Throughout her clinical career, Mikaila developed a strong interest in the broader processes that influence recovery — particularly the coordination, communication, and planning required to support effective return-to-work outcomes. This growing interest led her to transition into the role of Injury Management Consultant, where she now supports individuals, employers, and insurers through the rehabilitation and recovery journey.
Mikaila was motivated to join Praventus by her desire to advocate for injured workers in a more strategic capacity. She brings a strong focus on communication, client empowerment, and sustainable outcomes. Her previous hands-on experience gives her valuable insight into the challenges clients face during recovery, and she applies this knowledge to ensure the support provided is both practical and compassionate.
In her current role, Mikaila is excited to work collaboratively with stakeholders to develop proactive RTW strategies, support recovery at work, and reduce the risk of long-term disability. She is passionate about contributing to positive workplace culture and believes that safe, timely, and well-supported recovery is key to the well-being of both individuals and organisations.
